I gotta do hit & run posts with limited time. The temp job is well paid, but excruciatingly mind-numbing: comparing and correcting catalog entries for machine parts. I never knew there were ACME Threaded Rod Lubricants. Sounds porno, especially as it's listed next to the Threaded Studs and Acrylic Extruded Balls. Not a porn catalog, I swear. These parts are what keep our American industrial machine running. My eyes dry and my mind wanders; in the end, it's similar to grading papers but with much greater detail. It's a good way to kill time and pay bills, but I hope my mind wanders off into better territory when checking the spelling of Shaft Adapters.
UPDATE: I just discovered that this catalog also sells nipple wrenches. This is an industrial tool. My mind is doomed to filth.
2nd UPDATE: I was cruising along until I saw the catalog entry for prick punches. So much for a clean run.
